Wisconsin Man Files Lawsuit Against Nine Defendants For Asbestos Exposure

A Wisconsin man has filed lawsuits against nine defendants after being diagnosed with mesothelioma cancer. It seems that every day at least one person is filing a suit against a company because of exposure to asbestos many years ago. The lawsuits say that the defendants should have done more to protect the person from the harmful effects of asbestos exposure. This is the reason why you need to seek asbestos legal advice as soon as you think or know you have been exposed to asbestos.

Asbestos attorneys have been filing lawsuits on behalf of people who were exposed to asbestos as far back as 1952 and some earlier. Because asbestos has been around for so long, it is possible that some people that were exposed and develop a form of lung cancer did not know they had mesothelioma cancer resulting from their exposure to asbestos. This means that there could be more mesothelioma cancer cases that go undetected because until recently, no one had much information about the cancer or how he or she developed it.

Donald Doberstein was diagnosed with mesothelioma cancer in July 2008 and filed a lawsuit right before the end of the month in October. He had worked as a laborer and thirty years after he retired, he is just now seeing the affects that his exposure to asbestos is doing to him. Asbestos lawyers give people asbestos legal advice in the early years after exposure. It is never too soon to talk to a asbestos lawyer about your future.

Until there is a total asbestos removal program set up around the world, people are going to be exposed to asbestos. This means that there are going to be more cases of mesothelioma cancer in the future.
