Paper Mill In New Jersey An Asbestos Threat

People in Milford, New Jersey have some concerns about the old abandoned paper mill. The EPA has said that the paper mill could pose a threat to those living nearby because of the asbestos fibers. Those near the paper mill could develop mesothelioma cancer from exposure to the asbestos fibers that could become airborne from the abandoned building.

It appears that trespassers and vandals frequently visit the old paper mill in Milford and by vandalizing the building, they could be putting themselves and the residents nearby in harms way. The EPA will do air testing, but still, the building will be accessible to the public and vandals who can do damage to the building.

The residents should seek asbestos legal advice and once the reports are made available, they can act accordingly. It does not appear as if any asbestos removal is expected.
